California Family Health Council (CFHC) champions and promotes quality sexual and reproductive health care for all. CFHC achieves its mission through an umbrella of services, including advanced clinical research, provider training, patient education and consumer awareness, public policy and clinic support initiatives. As the administrator of the nation's largest Title X federal family planning program, CFHC partners with a diverse provider network that collectively serves more than a million women, men and teens annually at more than 350 health centers in 42 of California's 58 counties.

In November 2012, CFHC launched the first annual LARC Awareness Week in order to increase awareness about LARCs as safe, effective and long-acting birth control methods. The theme “Love My LARC” gives women an opportunity to share why they love their LARCs through various social media platforms. For more information on how to get involved with LARC Awareness Week, please contact Vivian Nguyen at nguyenv@cfhc.org
